1 Background
Football is a supernational phenomenon. The most popular sport in the world, with more than
4 billion fans worldwide, delivers the power of emotion to all fans: from casual admirers, through
active supporters, to the loyal followers who treat this sport as a religion and put their team’s inter-
est above anything else. Throughout years this sport has become much more than entertainment.
The joy and thrills brought by football rivalry has created one of the largest markets in the world
with huge opportunities and capital invested. As a best recognized and the most watched sport in
the world it became a significant medium with extremely wide spectrum of impact, therefore, it
attracts the most important advertisers and sponsors from various sectors and branches.
Statistically, every second person in the world has, to some extent, something to do with football.
In Asia there is almost 80 million professional football players, followed by 60 million in Europe
and 40 million both in Africa and N...

4.5 MD Fantasy League
Fantasy League by MatchDiary provides augmented reality experience for football fans all over the
world. Collectable Trading Cards are one of the most popular hobbies among many generations of
football fans and in MatchDiary we want to bring it to the next level.
MD Fantasy League is an overarching layer of our platform – it binds real events experience and
in-app game to provide new means of interaction and competition.
In MDFL users are able to create their own virtual club and run it as a general manager.
Fans can collect unique cards representing their favourite teams and players from clubs all over
the world, won by match attendance and other activities. These unique cards can upgrade your
MDFL team and give you an edge when competing with other users. User’s card collection will be
also great trophy and can serve ones’ as a proof that a person is a dedicated football supporter.
Furthermore, cards can be exchanged, traded or stored...

profits for fans that were previously for them unavailable. In our revenue redistribution structure
we operate within the fair division model, i.e. both the service provider and intermediary should
obtain certain revenue, but the fans should have some measurable benefits therefrom.
4.9 Crowdfunding and Scouting Module
Our vision includes creating a system that will help young generations in development of their
football skills. Young athletes often struggle with training and equipment costs. Community of
football fans can be there to help them. Supporter of a young talent will be linked with his account
and will be able to see progress of his career. Remember that your helping hand may contribute
to the discovery of next Ronaldo, Messi or Lewandowski and this would be probably one of the
best feeling for a football fan that he could ever experience.
